So you’ve decided to join the best community on the Internet! Of course you did, you’re smart and sexy! Welcome to the Model Program! Here’s everything you need to know to get started!
Signing up
First, if you don’t have a Pornhub account, you can create a free account.
The username you select will be the name displayed on your profile, so choose wisely. You can add a Stage Name for yourself once verified; your stage name will replace your username on your profile. If you’d like to change your username, you can do so once per month in your settings.
Once you’re signed up, you’ll receive an email to confirm your email address. If you do not receive this email after one hour, contact support and they will manually confirm your email address.
Note: Do not use a “throwaway” or “burner” email address for this. Use an email address you check regularly or create a business email for your Model account. It is important that we can reach you regarding program updates or if there are issues with your account, including the status of your
content.
Model Program Sign-Up
Once your account is made and your email address is confirmed, you can sign up for the Model Program.
Next, you will read the Model Agreement (terms and conditions) and fill out your personal info. Make sure to read the instructions carefully. Enter your name and date of birth as they appear on your ID as your information will be compared to your ID for validity. Here you will submit your ID and complete the face scan. Please note that all information submitted is strictly confidential.
You will need to select a gender for your account; the gender should reflect how the main account holder identifies. If you are signing up as a couple with two people managing the account, select “couple” as your gender. IDs for both partners will be necessary.
Model Program Application
The final step is to submit your application. Here you will enter your personal banking information so you can receive monthly payments.
You will be prompted to select whether you want to be exclusive with Pornhub. Exclusivity means you can only upload free to view videos on Pornhub.com for a 5% bonus on ad revenue and you benefit from our automatic DMCA services. Exclusive Models can post content to other websites with paywalls or their own personal subscription-based platforms. If you share copyright on the videos uploaded to your account with other models you cannot opt into exclusivity.
The final step is to provide your electronic signature which is your full legal name that you signed up with. It is case and space sensitive so the names need to match exactly. If you’re unsure, just scroll to the top of the page and copy/paste your name in the signature box.
You may be asking: why do I need to provide so much personal information? These are standard practices in any profession. In order for us to pay you, we must comply with banking regulations to validate your identity.
Your application will be reviewed within 72 hours. The results of your application will be emailed to you with more information.
Once you become a verified member of the Model Program, it’s time to set up your profile!
Setting Up Your Profile
If you don’t want your username to be the name displayed on your Model profile, you can set up a stage name in your Model Settings.
Your URL will be www.pornhub.com/model/username or /stagename.
To change your stage name after setting one up, you will need to contact Model Support. If you want to change your username, please log in to your profile, go to ''edit profile'', click on “Security” and then ''Email and Password''. Please note that a Username can only be changed once per month and needs to be a name that is available. This option is not available on mobile.
Head to the “Member Profile” tab in your settings to edit your profile. You’ll want to add a profile picture. Choose a high quality, appealing photo for your profile picture. It is normal if the photo doesn’t appear on your profile right away as it needs to be approved by our moderators first. Profile pic specs: minimum size 400 x 400 px.
Next, you’ll want to upload a header image, which is the main banner on your profile. Choose a high-quality banner that is cropped to fit your profile. Header specs: Minimum image size 1323 x270 px or larger.
Now it’s time to add some information about yourself! Under “Personal Info”, you can add which city and country you would like to appear from. If you have a personal or subscription website, you can include the link in the designated box. Under the “Social Media” section you can include your social media links. We definitely recommend this as it makes it easy for your fans to connect with you on other platforms all from one place.
Time to fill out your bio! Head to the “Details About You” tab and write a blurb about yourself so viewers know what they can expect from you. You can include as much or little info as you’d like, but we recommend including something; this is your chance to market yourself to viewers and show why you’re different from the rest.
In the designated boxes, you can include your hobbies and interests, your favorite movies, books, music, your turn ons and turn offs. This is a great way to show off your personality and attract viewers with similar interests.
In your Model Settings, you can add more physical descriptors for yourself under “My Attributes”. This gives you the option to add your hair and eye color, body measurements, tattoos, piercings, your ethnicity, and others.
Be thoughtful of how you set up your profile as this is the first impression you are making on viewers. Think of your profile as a one-stop-shop for marketing all your adult content. Even if you want to remain anonymous, your profile should give a good sense of who you are, what kind of content you make, your interests, how you want fans to interact with you, etc.
Before uploading any videos, if you’d like to add a “geo block” you can do so in your Model Settings under the tab “Geo Blocking”. Simply select the country(s) or region(s) you would like blocked from viewing your content and access to those locations will be restricted.
Now that your profile is set up and looking polished, you can start uploading content!

The Helpdesk is very thorough with everything from instructions on how to upload videos, add additional performers, navigate the multiple features, troubleshooting tips, managing your account, and marketing tips to optimize your profile.
Tips To Kickstart Your Success
1. Upload consistently and share your schedule with your fans on social media so they know when your latest video is available.
2. Try to upload 1 new video every week.
3. Size matters! Videos that are 10 minutes or longer perform better than shorter videos.
4. Titles, tags and categories will help viewers find your videos! Be sure that they represent your content accurately to avoid disappointment.
