We're excited to share with you the latest development in our comprehensive content moderation process. We’ve now launched our Trusted Flagger Program, a new initiative dedicated to further ensuring the immediate reporting and removal of content that may breach our Terms of Service. The Program, consisting of a network of leading non-profit and governmental agencies that have been identified for their expertise, provides partners with the tools to efficiently report and expedite the removal of content they think may go against the Terms of Service.
While any user can flag a URL at any time to be reviewed, members of the Pornhub Trusted Flagger Program can:
• Report multiple pieces of content at once (bulk-flagging).
• Have the URLs of their reports immediately disabled pending review.
• Have access to a dedicated support team to be able to follow up on the status of, and provide feedback to, our team regarding content they have identified that potentially goes against the Terms of Service.
In short, the Trusted Flagger Program is an added layer of protection in our comprehensive content moderation process. In addition to the program, we also have an extensive team of human moderators dedicated to manually reviewing every single upload and a robust system for users to flag content for review. These processes complement the age verification tools and the variety of automated detection tools we use for reviewing and removing any illegal material, including CSAI Match, YouTube’s proprietary technology for combating Child Sexual Abuse Imagery online; Content Safety API, Google's artificial intelligence tool that helps detect illegal imagery; PhotoDNA, Microsoft’s technology that aids in finding and removing known images of child exploitation; and Vobile, a fingerprinting software that scans any new uploads for potential matches to unauthorized materials to protect against banned videos being re-uploaded to the platform.
With these processes in place, we seek to be at the forefront of not just the adult content industry, but the tech industry as a whole, in preventing illegal content including child sexual abuse material from ending up on the platform.
