That’s why we’re upgrading your account security. As of today, we’re now offering 2-Step Verification for your account. What that means is you can add an extra layer of security by adding a phone number to your account. You’ve seen this in practice with lots of other companies, like Uber, Google and Twitter.
It is optional, so if you prefer not to turn on 2-Step Verification, that’s totally up to you. However, taking 30 seconds to enable 2-Step Verification will greatly reduce the chances of your Pornhub account becoming compromised.
SET UP 2-STEP VERIFICATION
Here’s a quick rundown of how it works:
- Head to your User Settings and select Security
- Add your phone number
- We’ll send you a quick, automated text with a verification code
Once you’ve entered the code, you’re all set. If someone ever tries to log in to your account, they’ll need to provide a unique code which will only be sent to you – meaning they’ll be out of luck.
